Lights & Lights
2026
Lights & Lights is an exploration of light as both function and expression, drawing inspiration from four defining decades of design — the 1920s, 30s, 40s and 50s. Each luminaire in this exhibition reinterprets the visual language of its era: the elegance and geometry of the Art Deco 1920s, the functional clarity and rational forms of the 1930s, the material honesty and restraint shaped by the 1940s, and the optimism, curves and experimentation of the post-war 1950s. Rather than reproducing historical objects, these pieces translate their spirit into contemporary forms. Brass, steel, glass and light itself become tools to revisit ideas of progress, domesticity and atmosphere across time. Lights & Lights invites the viewer to see lighting not only as an object, but as a silent architect — shaping spaces, moods and memories through generations.

Light Dechamp
2015
Brass + Bronze
110cm x 70cm
Light Dechamp is a refined lighting piece inspired by early 20th-century European design. Balancing geometry and softness, it combines clean lines with warm illumination to create a quiet, atmospheric presence. The work explores light as a sculptural element, shaping space through subtle contrast and timeless form.
