José Lisboa

José Lisboa (b. 1960, Santos, Brazil) is an artist and art educator with a degree in Art Education from the UNESP School of Arts. Dedicated to teaching art to underprivileged youth in São Paulo, he found inspiration in his own lessons, leading him to paint professionally. His work, marked by collage and mixed materials such as sand and glass, merges playful elements with impressionist colors while incorporating satire and cubist fragments. Lisboa is a member of various artistic and literary institutions in Brazil and Latin America, including CONBLA São Paulo, the Latin American Academy of Art (Brazil), and the Academy of Valparaíso, Chile.
