Christabel Forbes is a British-French artist whose work is a vibrant exploration of people and place through colour. Drawing inspiration from masters like Matisse, Vuillard, and Mamma Andersson, Christabel’s pieces blend reality, memory, and imagination to transport viewers into new landscapes.
With a background in Fine Art from Falmouth University and the Royal Drawing School, and a recent MA from City & Guilds of London Art School, Christabel’s artistic journey continues to evolve. Her playful use of drawing, painting, and printmaking reflects her deep curiosity about how we perceive space and map our surroundings.
Now based in Berkshire, Christabel’s creative practice remains rooted in spontaneity and the joy of discovery.
