  Credit or debit cards via a secure payment processor

  Escrow services(such as Escrow.com) for high-value purchases

  Avoid Bank transfers(unless you know the seller)

  Avoid payment via irreversible methods

4.      Request a signed Certificate of Authenticity 

• If possible, arrange a video call to view the artwork before purchase

5.      Red Flags to watch for:

• Urgent pressure to send money immediately

  Reluctance to provide more details 

  Requests to use non-secure payment methods
