Evolution—Memory, Identity, Metamorphosis
2026
Part of the series Evolution
Evolution emerges as a transformation of my figurative painting practice. The human figure remains central to my inquiry, yet it is now traversed by symbols, memories, masks, natural elements, and visionary suggestions that expand the meaning of the image. Each work investigates a different emotional condition: motherhood, identity, fragility, strength, memory, and rebirth. Color, light, and paint material become instruments to construct a reality suspended between concrete experience and inner dimension. I do not regard Evolution as a departure from my previous work, but rather as its natural development: figurative tradition persists, yet opens toward a freer, more contemporary and symbolic language.

I present a maternal figure suspended between strength and protection. "Regina Madre" explores motherhood as origin, memory, and presence. Rich color and symbolism create a solemn, contemporary image where the human form becomes the emotional and narrative center.
