Antonio Iovine

I am an Italian painter with more than thirty years of experience, specializing in oil painting on canvas. My research originates from figurative tradition and develops through portraiture, the human figure, landscape, and still life, evolving toward a more contemporary approach that investigates memory, identity, motherhood, and the human condition. Color, light, and painterly matter are central elements of my work. Each painting emerges from a slow and personal process in which I seek to unite technical rigor, emotion, and expressive inquiry. In recent years, I have developed a body of work titled "Evoluzione," in which classical figuration engages in dialogue with more contemporary and experimental solutions.
