Chico Coelho

Chico Coelho, born in Americana and raised in Piracicaba, Brazil, is a multidisciplinary artist who studied Architecture and Urban Development in São Paulo. He has worked as a visual artist, photographer, illustrator, and musician, recording four albums of original compositions. In 1998, he was among 20 Brazilian artists invited to exhibit in Paris for the 50th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. In 2005, he was selected for São Paulo’s ATELIER AMARELO project and participated in CowParade São Paulo with Vaca Bandida. Now based in Piracicaba after a decade in San Francisco, Coelho develops modern abstract art using his own technique, Dissolution of Fractals.
